It has been a privilege to be Headteacher at Willaston CE Primary School since 2006. Working every day with engaging children, dedicated, passionate and hard working professionals and a team of committed and talented Governors is incredibly rewarding. I have spent my career in the teaching profession working in four different schools predominantly in school leadership. I believe that every child deserves the very best education we can provide. Every area of the curriculum is important and it is our responsibility to encourage every child to be the best they can be. It is a pleasure to lead Willaston's great team.

On a personal note, I am keen to support the community side of the governing body as my grandparents moved to the village from Essex in 1947 to start a local family business, and my father is an ex-pupil of the school.
